Funerals Are the Final Frontier as Star Trek Merchandise Reaches Out to Four Decades of Fans

Licensed Star Trek caskets and urns for that final voyage…
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image funerary products such as caskets and urns, today announced it has executed an agreement to design, manufacture and market a line of Star Trek(TM) branded funeral products. The line will include collector-quality urns, caskets, memorials and vaults. The international agreement encompasses the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Korea and Japan.
“After launching our company in 2006 with sports, collectible, religious and pet branded items, the agreement provides us with a tremendous opportunity to enter the entertainment industry category with an extremely popular and well-loved brand,” said Clint Mytych, CEO Eternal Image.
“These licensed-image Star Trek products offer true fans a unique expression of their commitment to the franchise. Eternal Image has begun the design process and expects to begin shipping urns and caskets to distributors in late 2007.
Building Q, a licensing and marketing firm headquartered in Medford, New Jersey, represented Eternal Image in the acquisition of the license.
