Devious License Plates

September 17th, 2007

This past weekend a car zipped past me with the license plate number of DVS-6660. By the look of the plate and the fact that it ended in zero, I think it was a random plate straight from the DMV and not a personalized plate. Why add that trailing zero if it was personalized?

Then this raises the question in my mind, did the owner notice that DVS sounds out as devious and did they also notice the mark of the beast – 666 on the tag. That alone would have had some sending the tag back but combining it with DVS might send some over the edge.

So if this was a random plate is there an EVL-0666 out there somewhere too? Or another DVS-0666? I would be willing to bet both EVL 1 and DVS 1 are both already on the back of someone’s car or truck.
