Kelly McGillis Acting Teacher
May 18th, 2008
Kelly McGillis is slated to teach an acting class here in Reading at the Community School of Music and the Arts. According to Phylllis McLaughlin, executive director of the school, McGillis will teach an eight-week summer acting workshop.
The workshop will begin on June 18th and will run from 6pm to 9pm every Wednesday for eight weeks. Only 20 people will be able to benefit from Kelly’s acting expertise. The cost of the acting classes is about $400 per person.
The Community School of Music and the Arts was founded more than 50 years ago by Werner von Trapp of the von Trapp Family Singers. You know them as the family from the film The Sound of Music. Pretty cool, huh?
