About the Goldspirit Awards

The Goldspirit Awards were created in 2001 with the launch of BSOSpirit.com. Although there were several awards given by other companies, these awards were created to recognize film music composers by the film music fans.

The first edition awarded the best scores from 2001. With the birth of the International Film Music Festival ‘City of Úbeda’ in 2005, the Goldspirit Awards were given as part of the annual festival.

The Festival moved to Cordoba in 2012. The 12th Edition of the Goldspirit Awards will be delivered during the gala-concert that will be held in the Grand Theatre on June 29th.
